Mr. Hiram PARSONS obit
Mr. Hiram PARSONS, 88, GAR veteran, died at 12:40 p.m. Thursday at the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Addie PARSONS, on Parchment. He was born in 1826. His death was due to infirmities incident to old age. He is survived by three sons and one daughter, Joseph PARSONS and Spicer PARSONS of Illinois, James PARSONS of Huntington, Mrs. John FREY of Foster Chapel, and one brother, who resides in Columbus, Ohio. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon, Rev. E. B. WEBSTER of the United Brethren Church officiating. Interment in Mt. Moriah. (Mountaineer, 6 Feb 1914)
